What is a rent installment?

A resident at Capri is charged a total rent amount for the contracted lease term. For example, September 13-August 20. The typical leasing term is about 11.5 months of occupancy. The lease agreement will reflect the total rent amount and will be divided into 12 equal installments at the first of each month from September to August.

When is my rent installment due?

Installments are due on the 1st of every month per the payment schedule outlined in the lease agreement.

How do I pay?

We accept checks, money orders and cashier’s checks in our office made payable to Capri Apartments. We also have a resident portal where you may pay with credit, debit or e-check! You can find that here.

If my roommate doesn’t pay do I have to?

Nope! Capri offers individual lease contracts! This means that you aren’t responsible for any of your roommates! What is an Individual Lease? An individual lease is also called a “by the bedroom” lease. If you sign an individual lease, you are responsible for your own monthly rent and the regular upkeep of your part of the apartment. That includes your room, the bathroom, and the shared common area. (Does not apply to studio, 1 & 2 bedroom apartments)

Do you accept pets?

You are more than welcome to bring your friend to your new home! No pet rent required, just a $300 pet deposit! We are cat friendly! Please inquire about other pets!

I don’t have roommates. Do you roommate match?

No need to fret! We do provide roommate matching! When you complete our online application, you will also fill out a roommate preferences form, this assists us in finding you the best roommate(s)!

What is a guarantor? Do I need one?

A guarantor is a responsible party (which is a parent in most instances) that will guarantee the lease in the event you cannot pay. You may not need a guarantor if you have a credit score of 650 or better, and make at least 2.5 times the amount of your monthly installment.

I don’t want roommates. Are there any options for me?

Capri offers more than just quad style apartments! Check out our studio and one bedroom options! We offer a range of options to suit your every need! Go to our floor plans tab to see more!

Do you have parking?

Capri offers parking at each of our buildings! Once you pay for a space, it is yours! If someone parks in your space, don’t stress. Our office staff will deal with it for you!

You may not need a guarantor if you have a credit score of 650 or better, and make at least 2.5x the base rent.
